The Bulbul Lu38 in black is a wedge mule with a matte, soft-looking finish on the sole and a dressier, sparkly band across the front. The band is made up of sheer mesh strips lined with tiny black stones, fanning out in a pattern that lets a little of the foot show through. A thin platform sits under the toe, and the wedge rises smoothly toward the heel in the same solid black. There's no back strap, so it slips on like a slide, and a warm, neutral footbed shows on the inside. An easy way to get some height and a little evening sparkle, good for parties, dinners or dressed-up summer outfits.
